Haha good to know. When I find a new recipe I get really anal about following it exactly (which may be why I’m reluctant to try new things) and it takes me forever to prepare a simple meal. I’m trying to learn to eyeball things and cook more instinctively but its hard for me to let loose!

Yes I find that helpful as well. Also things I can check easily like if it says ‘add x ingredient when sauce is at x temp’ then that is easy to do for an amateur like me.

Yes! I do prep work ahead of time for sure. Cut and portion all my meat before freezing it so that it’s a quick task when I need it.
