1) The game has a new player experience now. I didn’t get to experience it as an existing player, but my understanding is that it locks most of the heroes in an effort to reduce how overwhelming picking a hero can be when you’re new. The process of unlocking the remaining heroes is through “challenges” that I think

So long and thanks for all the quests!

Overwatch has been my video game comfort food for years now. I’ve made so many wonderful friends because of it. If you ever need an extra and play on PC, I’d love to play some time!

I am also in this group. I will spend hours configuring games if something specific is bothering me. Most recently, I bought a new TV and wanted to be able to play games from my gaming PC in another part of the house on the TV. The standard streaming options (Steam/Nvidia) were not cutting it for me because of the

I haven’t thought of this game in a long time, but it sure does make me miss when Square was going through its fun experimental phase. Games like Parasite Eve and Einhander were some really neat gems.

I’ve watched xQc’s streams on a number of occasions and he’s a lot to handle. That’s fine. That’s part of who he is. But let’s be real, if the team owner is saying “I think a lot of it is breaking some of the barriers that mainstream professional sports have put in place,” then I think that shows just how green they

For those of you who are interested (it’s very interesting!), here is a GDC postmortem of Marble Madness by the original developer:

These oddities are always a lot of fun to read about, thanks for the article Heather!

This game is among my top favorite RPGs. The story was exciting and interesting from start to finish. The atmosphere that the game had was fantastic... Mixing the familiarity of an iconic city with a story built on a terrifying concept really worked for me. The combat and upgrading systems were addicting from start to

Back in 1.0, the Thanalan field night theme, Twilight over Thanalan, was perhaps my favorite tune. Check it out:

Yes... Reminds me of the public net in the book Ender's Game.

Sad to see him step away from X-Play, Sessler is a favorite of mine. However, since G4 went to crap over the years I really haven't watched X-Play for ages and instead just watched his Soapbox shows online. Good luck to him with whatever it is he does next!

Mine is simply named after a character in a book series I've loved since I was in elementary school. "Dannflower Reguba," son of "Rusvul Reguba" from the Redwall book series by Brian Jacques. Always fun too look back on where this stuff comes from :)

This seems like a piece of software you would purchase because you cannot actually go to the Louvre... In fact, it seems interesting enough that I wish it was.

Holy jumping Jango Fetts, Batman! Now that is something else!

While I think morals are key, both of those things are just bonuses. The kid just needs to develop some intrinsic motivation to do something, if making games is that thing then he has a chance to get so far ahead of the game.

Whoah! Talk about a flashback! I once took a summer class that used that program to introduce game development when I was in middle school. It REALLY was a lot of fun to play with. Kids like this who come up with a goal to make something specific often make the coolest stuff. I hope he continues with GameMaker.

I look forward to one day owning a Vita... But not until they have PS1 classics working, more games, and some sweet bundles. As much of a PSP fan-boy as I was/am, the Vita was rather... Prematurely birthed. Eventually, I wager it's going to have everything I was hoping it would at launch, and it will also probably
