I concur with everything here. He has no idea how to finish it, and for all the foreshadowing and imagery he baked in, he never had any clue where it was going.

I enjoy that one because I was out as bi for a very, very long time before I was out as nonbinary. My thought process was “wow, what can I do to get hassled and denigrated a bit more? I really don’t have enough people telling me I’m confused in my life, why not ramp that up?”

I’d never want to make Trank jump back into that nightmare. Clearly he just wants to move on, and is only answering questions about it because he has to.

I will say the MCU actually helped me come to grips with it. Iron Man 1 is one of my favorite films period, but it’s always interesting how “small” it is compared to where Tony Stark eventually winds up, fighting space aliens, losing then saving a missing half of the whole universe, creating time travel, etc. So…

From its start, Supergirl has essentially been a Superman minus Superman series.
