I don't know. Getting to know the characters in an era or a planet is a huge part of Doctor Who.

I'd hope there was a way to make it work. But I suppose RTD had good reasons to make the Doctor-Companion formula what it is in the new series.

I've always wanted more male companions. But what I've always wanted more is bigger groups in the TARDIS, kinda like the Ponds. Maybe they could make it so the new Doctor has a group of companions? I can always hope.

I really hope they take that chance. Bradley as the first Doctor is an awesome start.

You're taking too seriously a phrase that was more a joke than anything else lol. But I hate when someone just dismisses what they don't want to discuss saying "it was a joke" (it's a really cowardly way to escape from a discussion), so I'll try to explain my point of view a little bit.

That's why they should be making a Claire/Colleen/Misty team-up series. Danny can be a supporting character in that and Luke Cage.

The Marvel/Netflix series are in this weird position where we KNOW they're supposed to exist in the same world but they don't quite fit with the rest of it in a way that would make sense on-screen. Seriously, I don't think I can imagine these incarnations of Jessica or Luke existing in the same city than Homecoming…

They should really make Marvel/Netflix shorts. They have a great range of characters in there.
