For anyone who has watched IT Crowd and saw the one where they go on Dragon’s Den (British version of Shark Tank) you’ll get the reference immediately. For those who haven’t seen it, you’ll probably get it too.

I laughed!

At least with a Bethesda game you can head to NexusMods and get community-made patches/bugfixes/QoL improvements.

I rented one of these a few years ago, it was excellent exactly for the reasons you state.  In addition the seats were nicely padded, something that is lacking in most high end cars today.

The Scion xB really was the ingress-egress champion. I can’t think of another car that easy to get in and out of.

I really think it was the hamster commercials that did it for them.

My mom still has an xB from 2008. Those have always been fogie cars.

still one of the most beautiful designs ever.

That is really interesting, thanks for sharing. I would bet that 20 years from now, these will be seen the same way we see all the goofy low-volume EVs from the 90s and 00s that no one has heard of before, like the electrek uncar.

You’re blaming the design of Tesla Cybertruck?!? What about blaming the poor design of fingers that allows them to be chopped off as easily as carrots?

The Ford Nucleon, I bet that would have been a blast to drive.

Why, GM? WHYYYYY?

The 1999 Dodge Charger concept:

All your base 4Runner are belong to us!

Yep, new T4R coming soon.

I don’t like any of these choices, some of which have a high risk in terms of pricey out of warranty issues. Why not Mazda3 as shown in the photo?

COTD is Jalopnik’s McRib.

I want to find who originally latched onto the phrase “woke” and launch that person into the sun.
