I was *VERY* excited about FF14's announcement. I loved what they did with FF11 except the strict party-only gameplay, so a new FF online with modern thinking was a major thing to me, my wife and several of our friends.

Pretty sure the world hit that point ages ago with respect to the removal of the face from war. *HOWEVER* while I can't say I advocate war.. it does allow them to conduct missions from safety. It would be nicer if there was no reason for such missions at all, but there is and that's that.

... while I understand it's a arrow pointed at the Hip Hop crowd, I can't say I've met very many in that crowd into gaming enough to embarrass themselves by standing up in a room of their friends trying to sing or play instruments. Yeah it's all in good fun but does that crowd consider it fun?

can't say I'm all that impressed with this offer, I'll certainly be getting Reach on launch day but... that hat... umm.. _

dear god.. stunning... Pity my system won't be able to run it. I'm planning on upgrading to a quad or six core from my dual when FF14 comes out though..

who knows... Double Rep weekend in GW so I'll certainly dive into that a bit but with stuff going on this weekend and crap, it's all up in the air.
