I love these images and those that come out of all the cons. It would be nice however if the photos were captioned with who or what was being cosplayed. I am not into every genre and subset of fandom

All of these misleading graphs might convince you that all graphic of data are prone to error or misrepresentation. The fact is that with some training it's possible for someone to deduce when a graph is being misused. Just learn from this story and think critically about what you are being show.

I really liked this series, for my usual tastes way too short but the compactness suited the story perfectly. It felt like a universe stuffed in a jewel box. I like the idea of reading Southern Reach against Roadside Picnic, but I would have said that its closest prototypes were Stalker and "The Color Out of Space," where the encounter with weird nature receives more emphasis than any alien intelligence lurking in the landscape.

I feel like a lot of the rhetoric around defending vaccines has come dangerously close to saying "vaccines aren't bad, because they don't cause this terrible affliction," or something to that effect — whereas in fact, we can defend vaccines and de-stigmatize autism at the same time.

I'd be very happy to see Branagh helm another Thor. I think the first is underrated while the second is my least favorite of the MCU films by a long way.
