I'm not 100% sure, to be fair. I've heard tell it was "mutual," but I'm just cynical enough not to believe it. Especially when the final season of BE had to leap-frog eight years into the future and bypass some pretty major events, notably Arnold Rothstein's death.

If I'm not mistaken, we got this wrap-up season because HBO cancelled the show. Which is itself insulting.

And he ran through the makeup room behind Elsa while Ma Petite was doing her eye makeup.

I guess Tommy thought the interviewer took a cheep-cheep-cheep shot…

Thank you for that explanation! Looking at the photo (I'd never heard of Grace Coddington), it's a great result!

I personally thought Coven was a lot of fun. Just enjoy the ride.

I don't think I get the FranGrace ConRoddington reference, though I should say I lovelovelove Frances Conroy like a great big lovey thing. Agree with you re production design!

Awww. I'm having a blast with it. When it's good, it's good; when it's bad, I riff on it and enjoy myself just as much.

Nuts. I'm just halfway through COVEN now, as it was just released on Netflix. I wish I hadn't read this!

"Frankentate." AWESOME.

I agree with you. But I'd bet a lot of people would get their panties in a twist over how family friendly it is to have almost all the major characters dead by the end of the play. (FYI, I played Ronnette a number of years ago, and my husband has played Audrey II's voice, as well!)

Yes and no. The movie has a happy ending; the show does not.

In terms of pacing, I thought it was actually right - a slow, grim march to the inexorable conclusion (at least for Juice and Gemma - Unser's death came as a surprise to me).

OK, now I'ma hand Manson the scalpel and tell him to do me in!

That's exactly what I thought - that Hunnam was injured and they couldn't figure out a way to write it into the story.

Agreed. I get the whole "comfort" idea, but with Wendy…I thought it was lame. It's not that I dislike Wendy. I just thought getting back into bed w/Jax was a damned stupid idea (especially as I agree with Zack's assessment that Jax is a dead man, and Wendy will have her heart broken yet again).

So, was I the only smartass saying "Look at the flowers, Gemma"?

I surely have.

I think "best character on the show" could conceivably be shared by Alfred and Cobblepot. Both actors do great work, too.

No apology needed. Will Lange be part of the entire FREAK SHOW season?
