The point about Pennsylvania isn’t true, though. Turnout in Philadelphia increased by nearly 20,000 raw votes compared to 2012. Despite this, her margin was actually somewhat narrower than Obama’s 2012 margin, but the difference wasn’t decisive; she still would’ve lost the state even if she’d matched Obama’s margin.

The GOP sold its soul 35 years ago with Reagan. The rest is just shit circling down the drain into a herpes infected cesspool.

I’m getting to be an old, and I remember 2004, which was when the economy was starting to show signs of trouble, but we just kept chugging merrily on, buying houses with mortgages that were insane, borrowing to buy Hummers, and signing up for piles of student loan debt, possibly from your local ITT technical college,

I know this can be construed as ageist, but we REALLY need to have a precedent for regularly screening congitive issues im our lawmakers. This is a job where being fully mentally functional and present is essential.

Reading the comments here, Magary triggered everyone. Good job Drew.

Long time lurker, first time caller.

It sounds like they know this, but their donors have told them it’s tax breaks or goodbye, and they’d rather have the donors. Really, they’d have a lot more flexibility if they were willing to cut the corporate rate but not all the way to 20%.
