He's being hyperbolic, but the reviews, grades, and comments would suggest that people think it's one of the best shows on TV right now. And I think it is.

Speak for yourself. I'm about 85% sure that he DID kill her. But then again, I'm a sailor.

He cut his hand on the glass, then grabbed the knife with his bloody hand. Try to follow along.

Unfortunate that there's not a way to tag and hide spoiler comments.

At least it wasn't covered in warts this time.

I'd been pleasantly surprised by HBO's restraint with gratuitous penis close-ups in this series, especially given the prison shower scenes. Oh well, it was a good run.

Next time I'm making dinner for the family, I'm sure I'll picture John's feet and reach for the Crisco.

He made it safely home to his chair and lamp? Or the crime-fighting vigilante chase was all a UV-induced dream?

He had *no* blood on him when he woke up, despite her hand oozing blood while they having sex. So either he took a shower afterwards or it was a glaring oversight during production.

Hitmen were advertised there. DPR ordered one hit from an undercover agent, but records showed that he hired five more hits from another user "redandwhite" (a reference to the Hell's Angels). It's not clear if this was really a hitman or someone scamming DPR.

Yeah, but it would trace back to Ray, who would finger Elliot in a heartbeat if the FBI came knocking. I guess Ray's computer was anonymized using Tor, which would save Elliot a few minutes of effort. Still, it all seems a little odd.

My issues with the first half of the season have less to do with the pacing and emphasis on characters, and more to do with a lack of narrative focus and lapses into pretentiousness. The Night Of has been a good example of a slow burn that maintains momentum IMO. Still, a "bad" Mr. Robot (bad by the standards it set

Was it explained why Elliot needs to use Ray's computer to do the FBI hack? It seems like he doesn't have any other access to a computer, which would support the prison / institution theory.

Prison was the first theory I heard.

This episode really pulled Mr. Robot out of its nose dive trajectory from the beginning of the season. Maybe my favorite episode so far.

In fairness, it's directly referencing the Silk Road, right down to the admin account named "Dread Pirate Roberts." I don't know about human trafficking, but the rest of that stuff (drugs, weapons, hit men, etc.) were all for sale there.

Close enough.

It relates to a minor detail that show practically glosses over it: John has a really bad case of eczema. As seen in the doctor's office, it's worst on his feet, but also shows up his torso. I'm guessing that's why he had sex with his clothes on and the lights off. Everything ties back to the eczema.

It's possible:
