That was Cole's friend (and we don't know it was a call girl)
That was Cole's friend (and we don't know it was a call girl)
…Where exactly has that happened?
I loved that chair fight!
Yeah, there are theories going around that he will end up Woodsmen food like the radio DJ in part 8. I also think his gold shovels will have a key mystical role after all. (Catch me in five weeks when they mean nothing)
We'll see! Maybe.
I lost my mind somewhere between Charlie's old rotary phone dialing and "can't believe whatcha tellin me".
Carl has definitely been places. In Mark Frost's Secret History of Twin Peaks tie-in he is revealed to be a Twin Peaks native who, along with Margaret/the Log Lady, was 'abducted' as a child into the Black Lodge.
I agree with most of these except I don't think James was being spoofed. I think Shelly's admiration of him and his melancholy was sincere via Lynch. It was him sticking up for the character.
"Brutal fucking murder."
Unsettling theory on Reddit: The Woodsmen will hijack Jacoby's broadcast, just as they did in 1956.
Well, the music was definitely related to Sarah.
Final bold take of the night:
I liked her a lot here too. She was so thrilled and engaged. But I did begin to wonder, finally, if she was too good to be true and some kind of double agent. That being said I doubt it. (I also still don't believe Diane is an out and out villain.)
One more thing: I have largely been very pleased with The Return and I expect her to be used well when we see her again, but if we do get another season I would like 7-10 episodes minimum of the immortal Sheryl Lee a.k.a. golden ball savior of Earth.
I think both have said in interviews they have arcs of some sort. Which - okay! And I know Wendy Robie filmed more than Nadine sitting in that chair.
That's what worries me.
I think if she was there constantly it would be exhausting. She is so intense.
Also interesting: It's been theorized since the beginning (with Gordon, Tammy and the scene with Denise), but it's clear Lynch is now very consciously commenting on his own image and persona as a filmmaker with an appetite for beautiful women through Gordon Cole.
I'm so sleepy. But I'll go.
I still have a feeling Jeffries is literally a thing now, like the Man from Another Place reverted to the evolved Arm. I think he's that shrinking widget/whatever in Buenos Aires. What episode was that?
