Like I said: I think Frost may have had one vision of Preston, and Lynch another. To him the character seems to be a way to experiment with kind of a film noir/femme fatale archetype just by way of Bell's unique 'performance' and mannerisms. And I think that's a valid stylistic choice when you have stuff like this

Both Shelly and Ben are backsliding, though - when faced with family strife Ben weakens and asks Beverly out to dinner.

He was also Banshee in X-Men First Class where he was adorable, and killed off between movies

That's Harriet Hayward actually, Donna's other sister played by Jessica Wallenfels (who I wish was back but isn't).

Good to know! I've meant to see that.

Bob Engels talked about it - something about future movies or earlier drafts where the whole plotline with Jeffries' last case where he went MIA had to do with Josie's identical cousin/sister? Judy in Seattle, and it was all linked to the Lodges and Windom Earle somehow and that's how Jeffries became lost in the world

I am still holding out for the truck (driven by Sheriff Truman) driving backwards through fields of corn to send MIKE or BOB back home.

Oh I think we have the planet (actually another dimension) sort of alluded to as is in Part 8. Whether we'll see more is another story.

But they knew there was evil and mysticism in the woods. They likely knew the Lodge legends.

Jesse the handsome deputy has been on my radar for awhile. Chad got a lot of the attention for being such a scumbag but Lynch keeps cutting back to Jesse's spacey looks and attitude. Go back and look at part 4(?) where they bring out the Laura Palmer files, he's weird there too. He is hilarious.

It was on par with the pathos at the end of episode 14 of the original IMO. Especially the old woman.

I am sticking with the "Donna died in James' motorcycle accident" theory.

In fairness, according to Frost's tie-in book Frank and his brother (Harry) were both OG Bookhouse Boys. This is all pretty old hat to him.

Caleb Landry Jones (Steven) is really quite sexy cleaned up, but he plays scumbags and psychos almost exclusively.

"So Hawk, quick question… have you had this map this whole time??"

It went from annoying to hilarious to annoying to terrifying - classic Lynch. This whole episode (whole season, really, it's all been great) is why I'm now kind of praying we get one more shorter season. I don't want him to be done with this world.

According to interviews that was something Lynch and Bob Engels played with in early versions of FWWM/when there were going to be more films - the idea that there were entrances to the Lodges across the world. Jeffries found one in Seattle, there was one in Buenos Aires, etc. (which is where he is shown warping in and

I think the site in Buckhorn may have been the site of the old convenience store, or something like it.

B? Seriously?

Grant Morrison can do anything he likes AFAIC
