Don't skip.

David Lynch.

I do think Sky Ferreira's character at the end (Ella, the druggie with the rash) may have some links to the larger plot. I don't remember the specifics but someone was suggesting the drugs Red is selling may be supernatural in some way and have physical side effects. Or not. But I do think the rash is tied to the

I really don't think that is coming for Bobby. They basically had Betty Briggs sign off on the whole thing tonight narratively in the absence of the Major, who was kind of the Frost word of God on the show. I do think he may be a red herring at some point, but we know Chad is a dirty cop.

Exposition is not a dirty word when it's done well. There were plenty of moments of art and character for me here, and I loved the long "pointless" humor some people just never seem to get with Lynch. (Like Deputy Chad and his TV dinners- it's there bc he hates Chad and feels like it, and it's funny)

The long scene with the giggling Detectives Fusco and their sassy lab tech was exactly the kind of bizarre awkward humor I love with Lynch and exactly what people I don't trust in this life hate

I think Lynch intends for Tammy/Bell to be that awkwardly hyper-stylized (it's also how she is IRL from what I've seen, as she is not a trained actress and is very green). Like a lot of Lynch characters she is a stylized archetype. Once I keyed into that I go with it. Plus I think they're giving her more and more

But I think it is an Arm.

Oh Emily. No.

Nope.

To who?

But there's an absence of evidence of that. And when a troubled underage kid disappears across state lines I think it's really irresponsible to jump to 'well if she's queer the dad's probably a shit to her' without anything substantive. Especially when he is out there vocally advocating for her identity.

Are you going to report your evidence to the police?

As I said below: If you believe you have credible evidence of abuse or a narrative which can be backed up by evidence, you need to report it to the authorities and not Twitter or the A.V. Club Newswire. I'm sure the police also have a lot of questions for Jade and will not be ignoring any statements she may make.

If you believe that and believe you can back a claim of abuse up then you can report it to the proper authorities. Not the A.V. Club and Twitter. If you can't then you leave it to the family and consider that maybe the story of an underage teen going missing across state lines is bigger than your worldview.

Out of state.

That's the vibe I get from the handful of 'let Jade fly free!' posts on social media, yes.

Then you should be glad she's not on the damn streets.

Based on the outpouring online I feel relatively secure in my snap judgment that home safe with family trumps on the run with people from the Internet.

Based on what was floating around online (she had a social media trail) I'm more inclined to believe the girl had emotional issues and possibly some external problems, and got taken advantage of by 'friends' online. I don't see anything credible supporting a "Donal Logue was bullying his trans daughter" narrative,
