Exactly. It just sounds grumpy. And also, by the time they got to stuff like Twilight or whatever, the whole world's already picked its bones. It feels like a middle-aged also-ran.
I love the Mike era best, but I don't think RiffTrax works. It's just too mean, there's no conceit and they take on too obvious, well-worn targets.
I think Oculus proves how talented he is at staging this sort of stuff.
