Used to score overripe dramedy treacle designed to pad out a thin sci-fi premise, but yes, the music is lovely.

All I get from the reviews is Lost PTSD by way of people who foolishly invested in Lost.

I saw Lost. Lost was shit. This is not. These people have an actual story, not weepy basic network TV human interest vignettes slung together with slo-mo and sad music.

Eeeeehhhhhhhh

I was going to comment along those lines myself, but I figured it was everyone's go-to.

18 minutes, Kevin? Really?

Who would've thought that attempting to patchwork together some sort of half-assed, overly-serious 'cinematic universe' franchise out of Ghostbusters, utilizing schizophrenic marketing which both played off nostalgia and steadfastly insisted upon pointlessly rebooting the continuity, would fail?

Exactly - Maeve is the parallel to Dolores.

Honestly, you can all shoot me for saying it, but the whole thing just doesn't bother me the way it so viscerally seems to for other people.

We get it, Zack. TV shows should do what you want.

What, you're losing patience just now?

Cue the "but he's so brilliant" defense.

I loved his filthy grin when he was going on and on about the peacock in the dirt. Hopkins has phoned it in in a lot of stuff in the last 15 years, but he knows how to modulate that smile perfectly to make it so sick when he wants to.
