I actually really dig the director attached, so I'm curious.

Lumet has made bad films but he's also made a ton of underrated and unsung gems. I think he is both fairly consistent and natural, as long Hollywood careers go.

I have absolutely no idea what Series 3 of The Fall is about. Pretty psyched.

Is… is my old 42" not big enough??

Dude, no

I like LA Noire a lot. A lot a lot. It's flawed but I really hope Rockstar picks it up again someday for a bigger, better sequel.

I mean, IIRC John Carpenter does a voice cameo as a character modeled after himself, so there's that, but it's in a 'government black ops lab' as part of the dumb Evil Government plotline that dominates the latter half of the game.

You can test them and have them come up positive and Thing out. The problem is that the testing very quickly becomes pointless overall, as there are numerous scripted events that dispose of teammates as Things regardless of testing or of what precautions you take.

You shouldn't!

I have, at length. After the first 15-30 minutes it collapses into a tacky shoot 'em up.

yeee

Jesus, I expected a Random Roles with Nick Nolte to be 90 seconds of unintelligible slurring followed by a physical assault. What a guy!

Many of them are scripted. It's pointless.

This game was a fantastic idea with a great trailer. In every other respect it was a fucking mess.

Every report on this story has varying reasons but they all come down to CBS fucking it up and wanting the show made very, very quickly (and cheaply).

They clearly didn't have any confidence in the man they hired to take his time.

Fuck.

Regan/Angela claims Chris did it for fame, but Chris has turned up as an exorcist, not a Hollywood star. Regan may resent her mother converting to the faith and dragging her into that world which she wants no part of; claiming Chris did it for fame is her rationale.

I don't think it's that simple: When I heard Angela say that I too called bullshit, but the Chris who shows up at the door is evidently a devout woman of faith who has left show business behind. I think Angela/Regan, in her resentment, took Chris' apparent conversion as exploitation which drove a rift between them.

I am so amped about that Blu-Ray, and this twist only made me moreso. This change redeems the show's weaknesses for me (such as, Angela being so quick to jump to possession in the pilot) but it has improved steadily week after week.
