Nemesis
Insurrection
Final Frontier
Generations

Nemesis is equally bad or worse for sheer ridiculousness, but I fell asleep during Insurrection. TFF and Generations are lame but not nearly as bad as those two.

The PA sequels are good.

I had a feeling this was what this… was. Looks fun.

Matthew Modine

It's a lovely book and he seems to have been a prince of a guy, but given that and the final film I often get the impression Piller somewhat helped contribute to the safe, cozy samey-ness that eventually overtook the syndicated franchise for years to come. Some of it was and is very comforting as a young kid and on

It's okay, Hunter died in a woodchipper accident so that's about $30K right there

I think it's just a matter of them making it official at this point. The producer did an interview the other day about meeting with the writers for Season 2. But I agree, hurry up.

Poor Karen is great.

Damages had a rough second season but overall stayed solid.

According to the showrunners, Steve was a stereotypical douchebag in the script until they saw Joe Keery onscreen. They fell in love with him and the character's arc changed dramatically. I agree he's awesome.

"I don't like devils!"

I love poor Karen. She tries so hard.

He reminded me more of Robert McNaughton(?) - Elliott's older brother from E.T. Not that conventionally handsome but rough around the edges enough that he fit perfectly for a lot of the young stars of that era and in that genre.

The finale ends with a lot of open avenues.

Exactly - the interlocking stories with different age groups is classic '80s movie. Then they all come together as a family unit/team. The formula pre-dates this show and they use it well.

There is a more contemporary track near the very end of the finale which killed me.

Douchebag dates way back.
