I just am not invested in this project at all sans Cary Fukunaga. The Mama dude didn't make a great movie.
He looked silly in the costume and to me, always seemed uncomfortable and struggling.
Fassbender by a mile. I love Ian McKellen in other things but I have to say I always felt he looked both ridiculous and frail in the X-films in the various getups they put him in, and the scripts were never up to par in the way FC and DOFP were for Fassbender's Magneto.
