I don't know why but when I see caramel or candied apples I feel like the apples underneath are hundreds of years old.

I've been to England but did not drive because, hell no. I had a hard enough time looking the correct way before crossing the street, can't imagine driving would be easy. I was curious about their gas prices but they deal in liters, not gallons. Even after rough math, it looks like they pay a lot more than even…
There are none, and if I hadn't known before going it would've been very weird. There's just a person waiting there when you pull up. Having pumped my own gas for years it's just a very odd experience. I've been told that tips are not really expected but you just feel like you're being cheap when you don't.
Being from the west coast this is all confusing to me. Why do they make it so difficult? It reminds me of how I dislike driving in Oregon because they won't let you pump your own gas. Do I tip this guy or...?
Yea it's difficult to read tone through text from a person you do not personally know. No worries, we're on the same page here.
Don't have a wife or kids, but that was exactly my point. Not sure if you thought I was speaking for myself there. I was pointing out that some people treat their man-caves as refuge from their families.
HA! It was more of a joke honestly, but it would not surprise me to see them show interest (depending on the money involved/wages). But they need a striker! I was so excited when he came to Liverpool in '06 ('07?), and he made me even more of a fan over his years there. That January transfer request really bothered…
As someone who has loved him as a player since his "never-scores-two-goals-alike" Atletico days and a guy who likes Liverpool, this makes me very sad. It almost seems like the only place he might be able to get back to his old form would be with Liverpool.
This makes it seem more like a cool place to go hang as opposed to a place to hide from your wife and family.
Agreed. Someone needs to tell him to relax and just put his feet up and have a beer for a week or so and decompress. I remember when you were happy, Albert!
In that screenshot for the video it looks like everyone has stopped giving a damn about it being there. Must have been there a little while.
Anybody play any instruments? Anything unique?
NO.
I need to rethink my career path. I wouldn't mind getting beer shipped to my house without asking/paying for it and give it a shrug and "yea I guess I'll drink it. I mean, it's there." Instead I'm stuck near the office kitchen where it smells like prison stew.
I met a friend of a friend in San Francisco a couple years ago who graduated from Duke. He was born in Chile and spent maybe half of his life in North Carolina. He felt the need to apologize for having been a Duke grad. I didn't get it. But his awareness of the overall disdain for anything Duke related made me realize…
Mine is Pulp Fiction. Oh and Braveheart (ducks)
Literally ANY other sponsor would have made them look different. For a change, I agree with you.
There's some sort of way around the "there aren't any eggs in it" argument for Just Mayo. I'm sorry if it's been mentioned but I can't scan 400+ comments because I'm an asshole. ANYWAY. If I recall correctly all you have to do to get around getting sued for this is adding a -Y or -EY to the end of it. They would…
The Ducks outplayed the Kings the entire game. Look up the shots on goal, it wasn't even close. Their shots just weren't going in. I think the Kings only had 5 shots in the first period but were winning 2-0 after the first. The Kings third goal was a simple misplay by Ducks goalie Andersen and it got him yanked.
A problem as in...I was drinking old beer?
