Well, all of that is ESPN attempting to progress with the times. It's what the kids want, right?! When they put up viewer tweets I want to die for the anchors reading them because, almost every time at least, they're just awful mundane opinions. They're trying to get their viewers to engage which will in turn keep

OK OK, not everything is pricey. But I mean, you definitely can find a pack of mints for like $6 there.

Gelson's is 'spensive. But tell me, as I've always wondered, how someone can eat more than 2 or 3 bites of Subway's meatball sandwiches without the taste getting immediately old. I love meatballs and I like Subway enough I guess, but I can't even take down a 6 inch. When I get whatever sandwich I normally do I can

I only watch live stuff and ESPNFC. So I'm in the same boat as you. MNF won't change much because any pro football is going to get ratings. Look at the garbage matchups the NFL network puts on Thursdays. And not everyone even gets that channel.

I understand what you're saying here but I wouldn't call the Premier League rights that NBC has "remnants".

I looked up the Scott Pilgrim books and there are 6 (right?). That's a bit of a commitment. I liked the movie, though I've found that it's hard to go back and read a book that a show/movie has been based on after viewing that particular show/movie.

I honestly stopped reading this halfway through, as I did with most book reviews, because of the what-if-I-want-to-read-it? train of thought. I don't want to ruin it. Never been into graphic novels so much but I've always wanted to give at least one a try. At some point. Whenever.

I don't actually see the Dodgers' "non-mascot" mascot thing anywhere in there.

Completely agree with you. The irrational idiot within me wants the deal to be restructured but we both know there's no hope of that happening.

That route has been taken for quite some time now. I blame Time Warner first and foremost, but you can't tell the fan base that has been left in the dark to not look to the owners to try and do something. I don't blame them for getting the best deal. I don't recall saying I did.

It's unfortunate because I had to watch look-ins on the MLB network during his no hitter. I don't have a whole lot else to say except the new owners are doing nothing to fix the problem.

I sat in the pavilion. I know, mistake number one. But the security was so overwhelmed because there were so many fights. Only Dodger fans got kicked but that was simply for their own safety. The whole ordeal seemed to capture Matt Kemp's eye when he still played CF. Between outs he would turn and just stare at the

These incidents were bound to happen. I went to AT&T park in '09 to watch the Dodgers and had plenty of Giants fans shit talking me just for what I was wearing. Peanut shells dumped on my leg walking up the aisle, and worst, a grown ass man try to choke a fucking kid when they got into a Barry Bonds/Manny Ramirez

That is not even the worst example. The alternate kit from '12-'13 was like a Halloween costume with tribal designs on the sleeves. Wretched.

I agree for the most part with you here but Spain flamed out pretty bad in this tournament. For people to claim this is the end of the Brazilian team's overall dominance as a power team is short-sighted. Do they not realize that there is a healthy number of talented Brazilian players playing all over the world that

I agree with your roommate assessment except mine has a weird quirk. He offers his food to me, which I never accept or eat later and I think he believes that his offer gives him carte blanche to eat my food. Him and his girlfriend even ate 2 unopened things of Ben and Jerry's of mine. They later claimed they thought

The studies mentioned, were they done regarding international matches, club matches, or both? I'm not sure if it really matters but it'd be interesting to see. I noticed the 2nd one mentioned it was the Bundesliga, but overall I'm just curious.

Overall I really enjoy the coverage. But why do they insist on having Moreno and/or Palomo for any match involving a Spanish speaking country? They seem biased every time. It doesn't help that I can't stand Alejandro Moreno. He sometimes sounds like a 40 year old saying things he thinks cool kids say.

At first I thought you were being sarcastic about empty cans to throw out but you're talking about leftover full beers I assume. You are absolutely right.

it was mostly sarcastic but reminded me of a post a couple weeks ago where some people said In-n-Out burgers looked like the pictures. They look more like these 2 sad displays of food.
