I haven't played DOTA before but I do very casually play LoL (as in I have close friends who tried to get me into it, and I'll play it every so often, but not regularly). I think I'll give DIE a try. I enjoyed playing DI with friends, so I can probably persuade them to try this, too.

I came to post this. I see I don't have to. Good job fhqwhghads.

Oh God...I'm cackling so loudly...I'm glad I didn't see these at work!

I agree—it sounds like there were some more pronounced sound effects included (like hand claps) that weren't there before. I like this one more, too. It took my eyes and brain a little while to adjust because I was feeling overstimulated by some of the animation. But I like seeing more of the choreography than was in

5) Do not plan on ever saying a curse word while walking into the street. The bus will impact right before you get that expletive out. And apparently, that's what you get for been foul-mouthed!

We've had major film adaptations starring Kenneth Branaugh (not like you can tell that man no to anything Shakespeare, though), Mel Gibson, and Ethan Hawke. None of them were anywhere near their teens. Cumberbatch is fine when it comes to the issue of age if we accept this is a thing that can be ignored.

GAAAAAH NO, I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M IN FOR!!!! *going to restock my wine supply so I have plenty of drinking juice and can spit take the fuck out of my den table when awful things happen*

I'd like to blame my current trend of watching currently-broadcasted TV shows in one evening's sitting while going through a bottle of wine on GoT. I love wine. But geez, if the Lannisters' constant wine drinking doesn't make me always go, "Hmm. GOOD IDEA." I'm planning to restock my supply this weekend in

As a long-time fan of the Peanuts gang, the photo of your son in that Charlie Brown sweater is TOO ADORABLE FOR WORDS.

I'm also a little sad that it's the long-haired version of Rapunzel rather than the bobbed brunette. Short hair would make more sense. Or if you're going to go with long hair, let her use it as a weapon. Hell, considering how really disgusting her hair would get if used as a weapon against zombies (imagine the blood,

Truth. Or at least try to do some create bun/braid/really huge hat. OOO. An oversized tartan tam to further evoke her heritage would've been cute and appropriate.

The only real exception thus far in the TWD TV world is Rosita. Which was a very literal, "WTF?" out-loud moment when her character was introduced on the show wearing those short shorts with that literal navel-gazing top. I'm not caught up on the comics, but for some reason, I didn't spit take as hard when she and

Awww... *sniffle*

You like the Misfits, the Misfits?

With new song tracks from Yoko Kanno?!?! WHAT. I must own these.

Kesha for a Misfit!!!

I think this "panic," anxiety, discrimination (whatever term you want to use) has been around for quite some time, actually. In part, it has to do with the religion—the history of Christianity within the black community and the religious intolerance against nonheterosexuals; but also in part with the discrimination

*raises hand* I would pay for it. Then again, I love horror stories. And I love horror stories that feature people of color as the main characters. So when I come across horror narratives starring black female characters, Hells yeah I'm willing to pay if that will encourage those types of casting choices or narrative

I have this same type of conversation about Richard Matheson. I say his name and I get blank stares. I then rattle off the names for movies that are adaptations of his work and I get, "Oooohh...I didn't know that was based on a book/short story!" (Examples: I Am Legend/The Omega Man/The Last Man on Earth; The
