Fanfiction. That is what's getting me through these long, humid months. And a fair amount of it is Bonnie-centered. Because like you, I just can't. I could write a crazy academic-y essay about the issues that Bonnie represents and presents as a more-often-than-not deus ex machina character, which pisses me off so

I found TVD on my own once True Blood burned me with the crappy season it had a few years ago (and the crappiness continues, but I watch b/c my boyfriend still loves the show, funny enough). I think TVD was nearing the end of season two at that time, but season one was on Netflix. And I grew up on Dawson's Creek, so

My interest in seeing this movie has significantly increased with this trailer. There's a stronger sense of the social and political tension happening in Panem, which seemed less so in the first trailer (sure, we got the scene with the older man being punished for raising the hand signal, but here we get that on top

I'm doing the same thing. I'm 175 pages into book two. Let me just say, there are a lot of things that I (not surprisingly) like better in the book. Like Sansa. Sansa's descriptions make me feel more empathetic of her (I don't hate her TV persona with a passion like a lot of folks, though I find her annoying a lot).

I can't get into Bruno Mars's music. Just can't. The only song I've sincerely loved with him attached is B.O.B.'s "Nothing On You" where Mars sings the hook. Otherwise, there's always something about his singles that makes me go, "...Meh, now I can't get into it." "Locked Out of Paradise" is catchy, but the line, "Cuz

I haven't watched their vids in a little while, and I had a strong, "OMG, Morgan, you've grown up!!" sense of pride.

No problem! The whole reason I got into Scandal was because a bunch of people in my Facebook newsfeed were talking about it so much while season 2 aired, I finally decided, "Let me see what all the hype's about" and found it on Netflix. Then I hopped to Hulu. And I've never been the same again...

I need any and all stories today that can help with the shitshow that was this weekend's news coverage. Saying that, any gifs involving Jim and Damon are welcomed with open arms.

If anything, Netflix has season 1, Hulu has season 2.

At least rage cry with some wine or your hard liquor of choice. I've been sipping wine but now, I might switch to some bourbon. Anger.

I'm also surprisingly excited about this. But then again, I absolutely love Shaun of the Dead (horror movies, especially zombie ones, are my thing). And I like Hot Fuzz a lot (though I do fast forward through certain parts). I'm considering seeing within a bar crawl-friendly area of my area before the flick.

I'm normally not a big ink person, but I'm fascinated by all of the ink I'm seeing in these covers—-the way the photographer captured the athletes makes their tattoos seem even more artistic and beautiful against the lighting.

I forgot all about this song, even though I bought the album when it came out. Whatever happened to Bentley?

I saw Paranorman by myself last year b/c I couldn't get any of my friends interested in going. So I was there in a movie theater by myself at 28. And I started teaaaaaring up in the final act of that movie into my popcorn, damn antibullying empathies. No shame. NONE.

Truth. The only folks I know that wanted to see The Lone Ranger are my parents...who are 67 and 68. So they actually watched the original TV series and love Westerns. They know who Johnny Depp is but they don't have any allegiance to him, nor do they really care much about him. Then you take me, 28-y-o daughter, who's

I've looked at those packages while in the grocery store, and I've pondered if they'd be any good since I usually like "birthday cake"-flavored stuff. But I'm also weary of non-traditionally-flavored Oreos. ...Your post encourages me...

That's good at least, haha. I did a wiki search on the matter and had a bit of a brainsplosion at just how much I've missed. I think the worst thing was thinking about her being a robot lackey against the Freedom Fighters and how much that idea ticks me off. But it sounds like that storyline has come and gone...

"Sally is currently roboticized."

Lawd, I adopted this phrase after I saw the episode. And nobody got the reference :-/ But its delivery still communicated my intentions well enough.

That is hilarious and adorable and makes me want to go hug somebody.
