I haven’t had an issue on my work PC, but I don’t own a personal PC currently. I still get calls from Aunt So-and-So and Uncle Joe who barely ever use their machines and manage to get malware on it. So frankly I don’t trust Windows or Defender.

If they just allowed some way to filter out keywords that would be a step in the right direction. I should be able to never see any tweet or user with “deplorable” or “alt right” in their name and they should never see me or be able to interact with me should i choose. Blocking should eliminate someone from existence…

It works for facebook. Hell, if they made it optional that would be fine by me. But I want the option to totally filter out non-verified anon accounts and never ever see their tweets or have them able to interact or see me.

This! It’s not even my feed itself. It’s that I can’t even look at trending topics without getting exposed to this crap. And it’s not just 1 or two errant tweets, every topic right now is poisioned with a constant flow of hate spam. You can’t avoid it even if all you want to do is read tweets about SundayFunday.
