I drove one of the earlier mule builds, it actually was a nice thing to drive. Only downside is when you're cruising on the highway in 9th gear and WOT it, it takes a while to make all the downshifting happen

How about the BMW M6 fighter? Inspired by its styling as well as engineering. With its supercharged engine, independent rear suspension, and rear wheel drive, it was benchmarked against the outgoing M6. It beat it in every way.
