What an absolute badass. I get nervous walking around the coffee table for a week after stubbing my toe. To get back in a race car after it almost kills you, that is next level legendary.

The answer is right there in the original email. Clean early Vipers can easily be had for 35k. AC can be had in the Gen 1 cars starting with the 94 model year. An RT/10 or GTS can both be found in that price range. Everyone has their own definition of exotic, but they are fantastic looking cars still and they will get…
That color is magnificent
So assuming you have driven both... If you are dropping 150k on a big noisy track toy (and want a FR layout American car) do you go with this or a second hand Viper ACR?
A man can dream....
I’m honestly amazed more people haven’t caught on to the early turbo DSMs. Unless they have and I’m just not paying attention. A lot of fun memories with an early TSi.
The 08s had a fantastic drivetrain. Near 100 HP bump from the 06, and the trans was upgraded from a T56 to a TR6060. Sounds like this is a new diff away from being a fun race car project. These engines are incredibly stout, so as long as none of the codes are long standing lean conditions, this would be a solid buy.
From the movie Hot Fuzz. Still on Netflix, definitely worth a watch

Me standing outside my local Lincoln dealership waiting for one in that dark green with the saddle interior....
Glad someone else mentioned this. Way too much money for a first gen. That’s clean, low mile Gen 2 coupe money
Less than 1% er checking in. Car nut to my core, and my daily? A base model 02 Corolla. Stick shift, manual windows and beige inside and out to top it all off. Comfortable, reliable, surprisingly fun and at 210,000 miles, not one single squeak or rattle to be heard. I still keep a play car in the garage, but given…

Man I love those Subaru RX Turbos. I last saw one in the wild about 5 years ago. I followed the owner for 10 minutes just to talk to them. I was relieved when he told me I wasn’t the first person to do so.
Love the big six. Won’t get anywhere in a hurry, but it will always get there. Awesome motors
So great to see these out on the track still being used instead of being hidden away.
OBS Ford is the correct answer. My first pickup was a ‘95 black on tan Eddie Bauer F-150. I still regret selling that truck. (stock photo)
