I'm glad you enjoyed your criminal justice classes. Maybe actually ask people- neighbors, staff at businesses you patronize, friends, relatives- if they have ever had negative experiences with cops. Then, actually listen. You might get some insight into why everyone is sick of your shit.

Chauvin probably knew safer ways to restrain a supposedly uncooperative suspect, with the ready assistance of three other cops. Unless he was just an idiot, which could certainly be a compelling defense.

I don't know if that's true or not, but Chauvin wasn't defending any endangered women. He was arresting some guy for suspicion of a minor crime. Chauvin was in zero danger and could have safely taken him in.
