Plus what small kid is worried about getting into heaven? You are telling me his fam hadn’t spent his whole illness telling him he will be fine?

Lol — no. My mother worked for hospice care for 12 years. I learned everything about the typical death process from her. She could usually predict a patient’s death time within a few-hour margin.

Yep, that “snore-y” breathing is the death rattle in action.
What is pinning? I’m assuming I’ve actually witnessed it from my tour in a nursing home, but called it something different.
People that say facts are facts—they’re not really facts. Everybody has a way—it’s kind of like looking at ratings, or looking at a glass of half-full water. Everybody has a way of interpreting them to be the truth, or not truth. There’s no such thing, unfortunately, anymore as facts.
Mine too. And the people credulously passing this hoax along were the exact same ones complaining about alleged “fake news” about Trump during the election.
This is just terrible.
Annnd — would Santa really just let the kid die in his arms and keep on holding him, *without* calling the medical professionals in, stat?!! “Oh, welp, guess he’s gonna die right here, and I’m just gonna keep on huggin’ him.”
“You guys all have to leave or I can’t do my job.”
I can’t say that — I basically believed it enough when I skimmed the highlights in the McDonalds drive thru line to start bawling as I ordered my Mac Jr (yes that’s a Big Mac but smaller....why didn’t they think of this before?!?!)...but then when I actually read it, one thing really stuck out: if my child was close…
Did I ever tell you guys about this one time when it was almost Christmas time, and there I stood in another line trying to buy that last gift or two, not really in the Christmas mood. And standing right in front of me was a little boy waiting anxiously, pacing around like little boys do. And in his hands he held a…
I know, right? The detail about mom bursting in, having missed her son dying. What was that!?
Ha, ha, right, I loved how the guy basically said, “I ordered them all out of the room and told them they had better not cry!” I mean, really? I would have punched the bitch if that were my kid.
Yep it’s exactly the kind of shit my more random FB mom friends tend to post or like. They don’t read any news, but they have all the time for this shit.
The shame of it all was that that kid was just two weeks away from retirement.
Also, if the kid’s that sick, they’re not letting a veritable stranger in there with him alongside no family or medically professionals, no matter who he’s dressed as or how many nurses swear he’s the best Santa.
Anyone who knows anything about the typical death process would also understand that this story could not be true. Most likely, if the kid were really in the imminent dying phase, he’d be unresponsive (certainly not having a full conversation with Santa or opening presents) and exhibiting the “death rattle”/shallow…
Yeah, it seemed like obvious BS.
I remember when journalists used to investigate a story BEFORE releasing it to the public.
