I’ve seen it all over the place in contention here, but mostly people debating if its ok to call it a career. This seems a little silly to me as its potentially gainful employment whose income can be expanded upon over time and with experience. Why some people are so offended that others are making a buck off this god…

So far it seems people are mostly pointing out that streaming is risky to rely upon and for many hard to continuously do. It’s like all of the articles about the gaming industry, most of us on here love gaming but by that same token gamers are that less likely to sugarcoat what it’s like to work in the industry.

It’s been my job for 2-3 years now (Youtube not Twitch) and I don’t think within my lifetime it’ll ever be necessarily accepted. People my age who I talk to about it tend to just get uppity and a bit jealous, and older generations don’t have a clue what I’m talking about.

The most jarring, immersion breaking, comically laughable part of this game is the timeline. In-game it’s been about two weeks, but the people in this universe treat it and act like they’ve lived 20+ years in a ‘Last of Us’ style apocalypse. Seriously, listen to how people talk about it.

Rocket League players on Xbox One will soon be able to play against PC players, as well. Microsoft said it’s now possible for developers to connect with “other console and PC networks,” potentially opening up true cross-platform play. Whether Sony would play ball, however, is an open question.

This will be a tough challenge, citizen. On one robotic hand, people watched her streams because of the sex appeal she has, the main selling point of watching her streams, much like people enjoyed watching me get blown to pieces by small arms fire.

Rocket League will be worth the wait. Trust me.
