Awesome story and awesome ring :)
Awesome story and awesome ring :)
I almost got caught reading this on my phone at work. You are a goddess and my hero.
My “mama’s boy” of a brother was created by our father. Which is the thing, any of these attitudes can be created by either parent. It’s one of the many things we need to stop gendering.
This reminds me of Spirit Week one year. Well, two Spirit Weeks during the same year. I wasn’t the school spirit type. I just wanted to get my work done and get out. To make my favourite teacher happy, I did participate one day a semester.
That’s why you hide it in your tin of altoids.
I refused to hide. I had B cups at the age of 11. If someone had an issue with it, they could kiss my ass. I feel bad for the girls who do feel like they had to. We need to teach girls to support each other especially during puberty, and to call out the bad behaviour of adults who want to slut shame girls.
Because it’s the perception of modest. Plus, you can see the girl’s “shape” in a spaghetti strap top. One mustn’t see a girls “shape”. It might cause boys to lose control and be distracted. We must protect our precious, fragile boys from those whores.
Please do. I had a 3rd grade teacher who would go on about how all the girls had to sit like a lady or they would be shameful. I remember getting in trouble because I fell and my skirt road up. Like it was my fault.
The shorts I’m wearing now (the only pair I own) are at whore level. I feel accomplished.
Also, Donna’s younger sister from That 70’s Show.
This is my mother’s story.
Yes, I’m more than willing to pay more taxes. I was dirt fucking poor as a kid, and the free lunch program made it so I could eat something semi-nutritious for lunch.
I didn’t get upset when my loathsome ex got married. I did have feels for the poor woman duped into marrying him. I know a few years ago when he was still trying to win me back he was with her and used her really badly. The two of us had a couple conversations about it since she originally hated me and called me a…
I think we work at the same place. My coworker is a period oversharer who has to sit on a blanket.
Not completely true. I worked at a call centre that required me to provide my high school diploma to ensure I had actually graduated. It took me 2 days to find it.
To be fair, these douchbags aren’t even wearing actual fedoras. They’re wearing trilbies. Go get a legit fedora and go fight some Nazis you crazy kid.
As someone from St. Louis who is moving to Melbourne, I’m never going to get away from the horrible food choices of others am I?
It’s because they don’t care about women.
While not a superhero show, Once Upon a Time does this pretty well. You have two story arches per season with elements slipped in as foreshadowing what will come next. Since finally giving it a chance (thank you Colin O’Donoghue and your wonderful acting), I’ve really enjoyed the set up.
Yup, they passed it off as her being insubordinate for not narking on someone else in the building. Except, she had no idea what this person supposedly did wrong, so she couldn’t have narked if she wanted to. She was the only one who was fired, so evidently, the other person hadn’t done something truly horrible.
