I didn’t care about any of the characters. You could see Milla Jovovich’s character’s destiny coming a mile away, Gary Oldman’s Hitler look was just plain ham-fisted and I thought the vision of the future was ridiculously over-the-top and simply not believable. Chris Tucker was super-annoying, too. Sorry, man, I just

You liked John Carter and 5th Element blew you away? We definitely are on two sides of the coin there.

I feel like Valerian is going to suck. When I first saw that trailer, I thought, “This reminds me of John Carter and Jupiter Ascending, and those both sucked. This will also suck.” Now whenever I see anything related to it, I think, “Yes, you were correct: this is going to suck.”

RE: old-school GotG, Starhawk question

Wow. I feel like the people who make films in Hollywood are never going to change for the better which is why television is more interesting and has been for the last decade plus.

Not everyone.

Hear! Hear!

Um, hmm. How about this: no hate.

I’m usually pretty liberal and open to dissent, but in this case I read the article title and skipped the article. Will Annett is already the best Batman since Michael Keaton and each and every clip and trailer for this has made me laugh out loud. And if I remember correctly, this reviewer liked “Sausage Party,” which

I am crossing my fingers that the SHIELD agent who was playing Galaga on the helicarrier in A1 will be in it... playing Galaga.

NBC: “Blindspot is still a thing! Season 2, baby! Isn’t it exciting? We’re excited and we want you to be excited! C’mon! Jaimie Alexander! Sullivan Stapleton! You nerds know them, right? It’s like The Lady Bourne Identity meets X-Men! There’s so much intrigue and it constantly keeps you guessing! Who is Jane Doe? How

I had someone else in mind.

Thanks. I’ll check out The Ultimate, as I was unaware of it.

That’s very disappointing, I think.

I don’t think Ant-Man is a very good example when the character behind the mask went off to be Giant-Man, Goliath and Yellowjacket. Which is not to say that I was particularly thrilled when Marvel did that, but my point is not about white people handing the mantle of a super-hero to another white person - which is

I find it disheartening that Marvel feels the need to just hand the mantle from one person to another; and in particular, handing it from a caucasian to a person of gender/race/ethnicity. It’s no better to me than that period during the ‘70s when black and female characters were introduced as carbon copies of white

I think they should keep bringing Crossbones back, as a comic relief villain who fights Cap in the first third of the film and gets “killed” only to keep coming back again. That’s assuming they’ll make another seven Cap movies...
