The BernieBros who are doing this shit aren’t Democrats. They were 16 year olds supporting Ron Paul 4 years ago.

I once let my cat out of his cat carrier while driving home, thinking it might calm him down.
The debt has never gone “down” in raw numbers since 1940. Even adjusted for inflation it’s basically always gone up. The measure that matters most is debt to GDP, and that measure can go down even as the gross debt rises. Currently that ratio has plateaued at about 100% of GDP, and will probably go down for the next…
Fucking A-ten right. I lived in Belgium for 3 years and the top beers there are Cristal and Jupiler. Cristal tastes like Miller and Jupiler tastes like Bud that somebody ashed a cigarette in. Belgium is the king of beer-making countries, but its mass-market stuff is still garbage.
The triad is not esoteric. Knowing what it is is only the first step in actually forming a coherent policy about it, and it should be presidential candidate 101. Trump has had months to learn bare-bones, basic stuff like this.
LOL Kremlin overlords. Look, I am not at all a fan of Russia’s leadership, sort of like the Estonian and Latvian Russians who shouldn’t be forced to go back there just because Baltic nationalists are having a hard time letting go of Herder. The Russian state has already made it clear these people can get Russian…
Tell your Estonian friends their citizenship policy is fucking primitive. Just because they’ve simplified it doesn’t change the fact that A: huge numbers can’t pass it, and B: someone who has lived somewhere their entire life, and has no citizenship anywhere else, should not need to take a test to be a citizen.
Europe is not a more civilized place. It’s got plenty of upside, but American liberals need to stop treating it like it’s the enlightened center of the universe just because it’s more socialist.
What do you mean when you say “about”? People talk past each other on this question because “ rape is ‘about’ x” is an incredibly vague characterization.
When rape is described as being “about power,” many, many people are in fact talking about the motivation and goal of the rapist. To the best of my knowledge, describing rape as being about power specifically began with psychologists in the 70’s trying to determine the specific pathology of a typical rapist.
Most shooters, of any race, are apprehended alive or commit suicide. For instance, of the 11 police officers shot and killed in the last three months, only 3 were killed, one dying after security guards, not police, tasered him. Of those shooters, five were black and one of those black shooters was killed. You can go…
I’m offended by how heavy handed you’re being with this character. A little subtlety never hurts when you’re trying to do satire.
Testosterone?
The article is about a “men’s rights” campaign.
Not a soccer expert at all, but the video makes it seem an awful lot to me like the striker saw where the ball was getting thrown and hopped up just a bit to intercept it.
Am I being a truther here, or what?
Honestly, Germans, along with the Greeks and Italians, are about the only ones who have an excuse to be caterwauling right now. 800,000 in one year is a huge strain. The rest of Europe needs to pick up a lot more of the slack
“If any of what you were arguing were true would academics be asserting that these textbooks are problematic in the manner and extent to which they address American slavery?”
Re: all that nomad on the steppes stuff - lolwhut?
“I don’t follow you. Slavery was an act of war/genocide not a agricultural project and should be described as such.”
It was an economic development project though. The text is very clear who benefitted and who didn’t, but simply stating that the US got a bunch of free labor disguises the degree and value of that labor. A dollar amount isn’t going to mean much, either, and in any event wont be terribly accurate.
