Offering their opinion in the form of a product review for something they never bought. That's where the rage comes from. File that as the most obnoxious form of the irrelevant one-star review, even worse than things like marking the product down because it's not available on Kindle or because it didn't arrive on time.

And back in those days, guys like you were making fun of Gronk for warming himself next to a fire like a pussy instead of shivering like god intended.

Yeah, it'll be disruptive, for sure. I just dislike that the discussion always gets framed in terms of "running out of room", as if that's the only reason slower birthrates are a good thing. The core of wealth creation is making things cheaper, and if we had a population more in line with the end of the 19th century

In the short-term, sure, that'd cause serious problems. In the long term though, if you're increasing productivity while decreasing demand, you're going to see a dividend eventually.

Doesn't it though? I mean, if they can prove you posted the video and that you own an identical motorcycle, it seems like you'd have a pretty hard time convincing them it wasn't you.

Can't they just subpoena youtube for the IP that posted the video? I'm hardly an expert in Canadian law or digital tracing, but I think tracking down who posted the video would be easier than trying to positively ID the rider with just the recording.

Right! Like the Muslim Brotherhood! Oh, wait...

God, people are so cranky and pedantic. It's light entertainment people, not a blueprint for how to make a living. You don't do bar bets with random people you don't know, you do them with friends who have a sense of humor and wont punch you in the face over a bottle of beer.

He couldn't take them outside. He had maybe a minute with each athlete before they had to move on to the next photographer.

I'm pretty sure these aren't the official team photos. He was working for one of the newswires.

I'm not disputing that Americans have their own blindspots, but that's hardly the author's fault, and people commenting on this piece are reading all kinds of things into a pretty innocuous article, and then proudly curbstomping the strawmen they've erected.

I'm pretty sure Eric Jou has a working understanding of Chinese history. Maybe you could reread the article before passing judgement on it? The article, despite everyone's chest-beating and equivocating, doesn't actually say "this is bad" "America is better" "Chinese people are wrong to make the Japanese the villains"

No, he wasn't saying that. Work on your reading comprehension.

Thank you. Maybe the author didn't mention Call of Duty because he assumed Kotaku readers were already familiar with it.

And no one said it was.

"That's why the big NGO push in the area happened BEFORE the oil right?"
