I was actually waiting for the tagline to point to a social or community organization and was sorely disappointed. Without that link, the ad is exactly what has people outraged - misappropriation and misuse of a civil rights icon.

Nah I’m pretty sure the purpose of this was to try and sell more trucks of questionable quality.

I’ll bet that you’re loads of fun at parties, eh?

Alright, everybody who had some dumb shit to say about Ferguson or Baltimore, please step right the fuck up for this one, too. What’s their excuse?

The best Jeopardy players know when to guess. I still remember watching Ken Jennings’ legendary run, and you could sometimes tell on his face when he was just betting on hazy memories and word association.

I proposed on a waterfall in Jamaica. The engagement ring was passed down from her mother and cost like 6 months rent. So that was a no go, i didnt dare lose it on the trip. So i went to a local jeweler and got a white gold ring with a pink (her favorite color) stone in it. Proposed with that on the falls and she got

I don’t know if the TSA handles checked baggage every step of the way. They may be referring to baggage handlers. Which also isn’t the best, but probably not their responsibility.

The car was also going to depreciate anyway. That only comes up if you need to sell it or it’s totalled while the loan is underwater.

You don’t seem to understand ‘investing’ or ‘opportunity cost’

I don’t think your thought process makes total sense. The car would have depreciated the same amount whether you took a loan or bought it outright. Basically, you paid $835 in installments for the ability to buy a car right away.

Ummm ok? It’s still incredibly inappropriate for someone with no relationship to said child to call them a “pissant” on a regional radio station.

100,000+ miles on my 7 years old Volt so far. I still see many first gen Priuses, as in 2000-2003 era around here, most on the original battery. In other words, these batteries tend to last a very long time...

I think it assumes the persons that have long commutes will buy something else.

Please don’t do that. We don’t like open flames in airplanes. If you’re not mature enough to handle a flight sober, just eat the pot instead.

Maybe in rural areas police collect money for local governments and constitute a revenue stream rather than an expense, but that is in no way the case in New York City.

I feel like it’s a bit bothersome how long it takes some drivers to do this when they’re not even using any sort of autonomous driving aids
