Nice, one notch down in fighting the "Stop Online Privacy Act" ;)

Thank you for the well stated, intelligent response. I thought it might be overload with a bit of oppression thrown in and I think (to the best of my understanding) that is what you are describing. I won't pretend that I even have the ability to really understand your perspective, but I respect it none the less.

@Derek: I'm not judging you. You have just as much right to complain about the lights as the people who chose to put them up. If you're that disappointed I'd strongly encourage you to take your money elsewhere. If you can't find an elsewhere, then by all means start one!

There are special needs children in this world... Not everyone can be the perfect little angel I'm sure you were, sometimes because of parenting, sometimes for other reasons.

Seen many of these baby welding nightmares in my day. If you see one and can do it, spray it with some sort of aerosol before smashing it (I've used Lysol). The tiny ones scatter and die quickly do you can focus on mama. Problem is that it is very hard to ID them when their back is covered with tiny spiders, makes it

This article obviously wasn't directed to you, you're in a nice place! Enjoy it :)

Interesting... you make a bad joke, I make a statement about the article topic based directly on the content in your "joke"... you get upset and try to insult me. Now I get the joke, you were pretending to participate in the conversation. That is funny.

Yikes. Thanks for the link. I'd hope we can find a balance and generate enough new jobs for all the folks that will be displaced.

Read the solicitation. It doesn't say anything about gender specific samples. This is a "hey, I bet people will read it if..." title.

Since when does "biospecimen" mean semen? The solicitation specifically asks for recommended types of samples.

Two quick questions that I hope someone can answer:

I respectfully disagree. Porn would certainly cause harm to a child. As parents we're charged with teaching them wrong from right, ethical versus not, AND decent versus lude.

A judge can say no if he/she believes the parties aren't making an effort. When exiting my first marriage I had to show the judge that I'd tried to get us to couples counciling... he had orginally said we'd have to wait for 3 months of weekly meetings with a court approved therapist. This was in an "uncontested"

Having done some grammar design for Speech Recognition engines, I will say that the accent can be learned and the noise can be filtered rather easily. The problem is the "grammar" or recognized set of instructions doesn't have a match for "What weather for today." It's akin to telling someone your address by first

Worst part about these little monstors? They let their dead stack over poison and keep moving forward. You heard me correctly... they keep moving forward and use the dead as a bridge. You can't create a barrier of poison around the baseboard like you can with most pests...

I'm excusing nothing. My point is that a short video doesn't give any of us the information we need to make anything more than a snap judgement.

approximately 18s in you can hear someone sort of growl "Get Down." I'm guessing that was the officer. One of the fighters backs away in a non-aggressive manner, the one that got tased appears to be either ready to run or ready to fight. Not being there makes it VERY difficult to know the situation.

Oh Sam, you sure know how to bring out the opinionated masses.

just as a point about the iPhone in your link:
