I always thought This Old House was a faaaaar more accurate home renovation show. It takes an entire season to finish one house. The people involved have a budget, but also spend more due to delays, price changes, etc. than planned. There are multiple contractors involved in every step of the process. One episode even

We intentionally redesigned our kitchen so the range was on an exterior wall and could be directly vented to the outside.

So when I saw a viral video on TikTok”

Will stainless be a mocked as Harvest gold and Avocado green were back in the day?

As a bonsai enthusiast, they are NOT house plants.  Most bonsai should be kept outdoors if possible.  Also, there is not specific bonsai species.  They can be literally anything that produces a wood like branches.  So just saying bonsai does not narrow it down.

To add, Omega-3 means the hens were fed what’s left of the fish after the oil is extracted for fish oil supplements, so don’t bother trying to find vegetarian Omega-3 eggs.

Agreed. I have many traumatic childhood memories of retrieving eggs from a cramped coop while being bullied by a rooster fully half my size.

My Mom was a farmer and would not eat “free range” eggs. She said you wouldn’t believe the things chickens will eat. And sometime her chickens would feast on locusts and have green eggs that tasted awful.

Having raised chickens before, I can say that they are evil, vindictive, and elusive creatures, all while being the dumber than canned cream corn.

I think she actually has a hard legal case if there is a force majeure clause, which most contracts do and as a former big corporate attorney I would be shocked if there isn’t one. A force majeure clause allows a party to opt out of portions of contract based on unavoidable and uncontrollable circumstances. So to win,

I cannot get over just the sheer audacity of the Disney response. Not just that this multi-billion dollar company is invoking the pandemic tragedy as justification to seemingly breach their contract with Johansson, but then they claim that somehow Disney+ has enhanced her capability of earning additional

FWIW, having 1lb blocks of cheese in your carry on bag will get it searched every time because it will look like plastic explosive to their scanners.

Brush your teeth, be kind to your joints, pay your bills on time, don’t commit felonies*.

My #1 advice to young folks is “take care of your teeth.” Bad teeth will have a severe negative impact on your physical, emotional, and financial well-being. This is coming from someone who spent his teens and twenties in the dental wilderness, so to speak.

After 9/11, knitting needles were banned, but some folks at Ravelry organized a write-in campaign and the TSA caved.

For what that’s worth
