I stopped watching the walking dead, but I wished they would do something like maybe a cure, or some people have natural immunity or something to mix it up.

Pretty sure this image got backlash for being heavily photoshopped, not because the model actually looked like that.
That’s also really bad photoshopping.
What? I’m the first commenter, I swear I’m not meteor. I’ve been tornadoslackss and only tornadoslackss since 2013. This is so confusing.
SAME HERE! I’ll have a slow day and click on a just-posted article and by the time I finish skimming it and get to the comments, one of those assholes has already posted a Hot Taek or a long-ass comment about their life! That’s how I know they don’t fucking read before they comment, which somehow makes me more angry…
I am a man who’s been bummed out with all of the Gizmodo sites lately due to a large influx of novelty troll accounts calling themselves something like Heinrich Himmler, Andrew Jackson, or just gibberish letters. I was trying to read a comment thread the other day and noticed that I was spending more time flagging…
What’s ironic is that even as we comment on posts about women being brave and refusing to back down, so many women, including me, feel sheepish and “mean” for saying that self-professed allies should be self-aware enough to realize they are taking up too much bandwidth.
I posted about this the other day, as well, and got a lot of slack from female commenters as well as my least favourite of the everywhere-men commenting all over the thread without actually engaging with me. So...gird your loins!
I’m sorry about this but I’m gonna kinda hijack.
This is why I don’t comment anymore. Every time I see a few usernames I want to scream at them to shut the fuck up and listen for once in their goddamn lives, but I don’t want to be re-grayed for starting shit. If you’re a dude who comments repeatedly on almost every post and are reading this right now: please know…
It’s frustrating and aggravating that despite the numerous times this has come up-it came up again yesterday-the worst offenders refuse to be mindful of how much oxygen they are taking up in a space specifically for women (it’s in the tag line even!) and continue to manspread on every post, including those posts about…
I would be really happy for a few dudes who have worked with Woody Allen or any of the reported abusers to weigh in and add their voices to the “Not working with this guy again” conversation. Their silence is deafening as only women appear to be called to account for it, are taking the professional hit and have to…
I wish some progressive regulars could get out of the grays and balance it off. I am almost done asking. Almost.
1) “Maybe they could take up a little less space” is not separatism. That is an absurd leap that I can only imagine was made in bad faith.
Yes, contrary to what a lot of people are willfully misinterpreting, I am fine with there being men here. It’s great! Hurray! But just...maybe...they could...not...suck up...all the oxygen...on every fucking story?
Address the whole statement, not the fragment you pulled out of context. “Women are just beginning to process the collective grief we’ve suffered, so men’s feelings aren’t our top concern right now” =/= “women don’t know how we’ve been treated.” Not even close. If you continue pretending they mean the same thing to…
And as far as for at the time of the movie goes, 1995 for most was not even “early internet” it was “what the hell is the internet?” days.
I think people tend to forget that we weren’t privy to all the details of every celebrity, every lawsuit, etc. back in the day. Early internet/pre-TMZ days was a whole different world versus today.
It’s amazing how Mira Sorvino has done nothing that can compare with all the rapists, harassers, and assailants who have been exposed over the last few months but she managed to write the must vulnerable, transparent, and effective apology of all the public apologies that have been coming out. That’s empathy for you.…
“The cognitive dissonance, the denial and cowardice that spare us painful truths and prevent us from acting in defense of innocent victims while allowing “beloved” individuals to continue their heinous behavior must be jettisoned from the bottom of our souls.”
