1000% agreed!

This is a horrifying incident, I can’t imagine what the community is going through. I wish that media outlets would refuse to publish details about the gunman, or at least provide their rationale for doing so. If you click on the CNN link there’s a video of the community’s sheriff stating that he will not name or talk

Good call. I don’ particularly love scary movies, but I have high hopes for this one! I’m loving the costume design/general aesthetic of the film that I’ve seen from the trailers so far.

Especially because his brain is behind such an adorable face!

Have you seen the Crimson Peak trailer?!?!

I like Aubrey’s look here, classic but sexy. It reminds me of something that her character April would want to wear, because it’s dark and Morticia Addams-esque. God I miss Parks and Recreation!

Sif is one of my favorite movie badasses!

This was Yo-landi’s response on Instagram yesterday. Gotta love her.

Joe is a treasure.

How can you not enjoy (500) Days of Summer?!

The way I interpreted that comment in the show (and I may be off base here) was that in her mind, if Kris had accepted her gender identity issues, she wouldn’t have transitioned. She would have stayed living as Bruce and would be married to Kris. Granted that’s still a pretty unfair thing to say, and lacks a lot of

Thanks, I’ll have to try some of those!

Thanks for the tip! Sounds pretty, I’ll have to try it. What products do you recommend? I probably own too much makeup now as it is, but I always like hearing about nice makeup to try in the future.

I actually think Justin looks kind of cute here, and that realization is very distressing to me.

Me too. It kind of reminds me of the eyeliner that Cosima on Orphan Black wears...but to the extreme! Wish I could pull something like this off.

Wow, Heather thank you for sharing this. What a moving piece. The way you ended your journal entry is so powerful especially since you have now been able to return to New Orleans.

Good point, I imagine that might be the case for many of the students sent to this school.

Thanks for sharing your insight. That makes a lot of sense. I guess as someone looking at it from the outside it’s difficult for me to see how the affiliation to the Catholic church can be just kind of pushed aside. It seems like SMA is an awesome school, and it’s unfortunate that it is being dragged down by church

I was wondering if anyone was going to bring this up. As someone who is not Catholic, but was raised in a progressive and completely open church, I am having a difficult time reconciling why these families would send their children to a Catholic institution in the first place if they feel that they themselves are so

I wish, but I kind of don’t think so based on his history. Here’s an interesting article I recently read about his image and the Catholic church:
