You're assuming Google is "promoting" Google+ by putting results in search results. I disagree. I think they want the Google search bar to be a portal to whatever you want to find, and it assumes there's some likelihood you're more interested in something you or a friend posted about or linked to than something on the

Or use swype so you type with your thumbs as you hold the device naturally.

Not ever using passwords for multiple accounts isn't realistic, considering how many accounts most of us create. I just think about how much damage could be done if someone accessed the account. If someone accessed my netflix, they really couldn't do anything except change my delivery address, which would trigger an

My last dell developed some sort of BIOS corruption where the BIOS was preventing the system from charging and the BIOS update program kept failing. If you're out of warrenty, dell support won't even talk to you unless you pay them. So I'm avoiding Dell from now on. Your mileage may vary.

Still waiting on offline editing in Docs though.

I almost never use my droid 2 at home now that I have an android tablet (xoom), but it's a wifi model and not pocketable so I still rely on the phone to read during my commute and help me navigate the city. Actually, when I'm home, I get annoyed when people text message me instead of using gchat since it means I have

Don't be embarrassed to have dinner with your parents on your birthday. It might seem pathetic when you're younger, but north of 25 it's not a big deal.

That is brilliant.

What I wound in voice actions:

I generally say, just get the best phone available within about a month of your upgrade date.

Has anyone tried out the new adobe touch apps or found reviews for them online? I have a xoom so I'm curious. I'm not sure they'd be a good fit for me, since I work more with text and css and document design, but I'm intrigued.

I really don't recommend relying on Google Docs on android. It's very limited. There is Docs to Go, and a couple other Word replacement apps for Android (I think one called polaris is preinstalled on the transformer), but they're not free and I haven't used them.

Truly free: Firefox

There's a way to alt-tab if you have the right keyboard. I have a xoom+keyboard. I think it's search+tab or long press home. It's not as fast though.

Thanks for the tip. It was hidden by my to-do list

Good advice. I also tend to focus on emails where someone else needs information from me in order to do their job more effectively. You multiply your productivity that way.
