The premise of Hamilton Nolan’s anti-Obama screed wasn’t “Obama was a shitty President because he gave us drone strikes and Tim Geithner,” it was “Obama was an okay president and is now a shitty ex-president because he isn’t doing enough publicly to counter the national crisis of the Trump presidency.”  Now, here is

I never, ever thought I’d say this but...I’m planning to vote for a socialist Democrat for my state representative. I’m looking forward to voting for Kristen Seale in November. I cannot let this fucko in the white house do any more damage. So I’m starting local and working from there.

And he was right. Obama gave us civilian drone strikes and Tim Geithner. Fuck you

Nancy Pelosi. Chuck Schumer. The Clintons. The Kennedys. The faithful leaders we have known so long. We thank you

“Virtually no one is in physical jeopardy — at the moment — from white supremacists.”

Skip on over to The Root where they have an interview from a mother of a biracial child who got hung by a group of teens this year while they threw slurs at him and his sister could do nothing but watch and be traumatized. Maybe he and other examples below (and beyond) are virtually no one?

What are you talking about? Hate crimes are way up.

Except maybe that woman who was run over by a car and died because she was protesting a Nazi march.

“In order for nonviolence to work, your opponent must have a conscience” I don’t recall much violence against the Nazis in Charlottsivlle. Was that car being driven through the crowd part of the “battle of ideas”.

I’m voting for the candidate whose ideologies most closely align with my own, in the hopes that a strong showing will be a message to future candidates that there is value in supporting true liberal policies.

I am an RN. I have a hard time believing morphine would incapacitate someone as described in this article. I will give the caveat that my experience is anecdotal and not evidence based, and that not everyone reacts the same way to all medication.

Isn’t snatching defeat from the jaws of victory kinda her track record, though?

This week I started to see Hillary lose this thing. This is some BS to be fighting about. Even Trump (at one point) supported a single payer system.

There’s also the employer side. Yes private citizens will no longer pay premiums, but employers no longer would either as well, which is a huge number, a number which will have to be transferred to higher wages for a lot of people since wages are kept down by health care is considered a big part of compensation.

Hey, thanks for stepping up the coverage of the democrats. In the beginning when Sanders announced, you guys didn’t give him much (and what coverage there was was negative), but after the first few months, it’s improved greatly, and you guys have been calling them both out when need be.

A single-payer system would require large tax increases; it would also mean that nobody would pay for private insurance anymore.

This is a spectacular fuck up on the Clinton campaign’s part. Way to alienate undecided democrats.
