Why does everyone get so worked up about some rando telling them to smile? Seriously asking - when did this become a huge problem that no one seems to be able to handle?

I kinda think the opposite - I think if I were Penn Jillette's kid I would want to hold on to every bit of normalcy I could find. Because that's just where a teen's mind is. Maybe in the future they will love the wacky - but there comes a time when the wacky doesn't play well for you. I think parents who visit this…
Not at that age they won't - unique = not included. Which is fine if you're a Willow Smith - not so much if you're Jason Lee's kid.
True - but Jason Lee isn't exactly A-list so I'm not sure that would be much of a concern.
Cute as hell kid - but yes, he's BONGO. Until sometime when he hits puberty and decides he wants to be Steve or whatever.
Doubtful - seems that Jason Lee is a space cadet of the highest Scientology caliber. Doesn't surprise me at all that he'd be so self-involved as to name his kid something they could never live down.
My son had a kindergarten friend whose name was Bongo. Right there, on his birth certificate - BONGO.
Meh - they might win from our perspective - but one day in 8th grade those children are going to wish their names were Jennifer and Scott.
Penn Jillette's daugher's name is Moxie Crimefighter.
Not the Mama!
Side-eye to BCoop for p-shawing the rumors of his relationship with Jennifer Lawrence by protesting their age difference - and then hooking up with Suki.
Well the wig is 100% bad, I don't think there is a question about that.
But they are topped off by that not-so-cute face. :(
Only if you're applying for retail/food service. No one should take this advice if they are applying for a career-minded position.
I don't think $100,000 would be out of the question for someone who was an investor or strong saver. She's not in her 20s.
Bond is usually 10% of the bonded amount.
I used to feel strongly about this until I discovered that my staunch position on it was keeping the rest of the people in my home from ever putting the damn roll on the holder.
Understood. But I can tell you that at 40 I still have friends who get pouty when not enough time is made for them - even though I have a family and shit to do. Maybe I need better friends :)
Totally irrelevant - because she shouldn't have beaten the bird regardless. It isn't clear whether this one had "long leather tethers" tied to its feet - but the point remains. You commented mid-thread - I wasn't defending the woman at all. Pet or no pet, she shouldn't have done what she did.
I understand you - the woman shouldn't have murdered the bird, regardless of its pet standing. Someone else suggested that if their "pet" was being attacked they would do the same thing.
