Stop answering his texts. For the love of Jesus! (Or not. Either is good.)

There's some howling English in these letters today. 'Invite' is a verb. 'Invitation' is the noun that LW1 was looking for. Why on Earth she would consider attending this "baby shower" thing, far less giving something is beyond me. These new and increasing ways of squeezing friends and relatives for stuff are pretty

Architechture: Maths-based, involves art and design aspects; leads to a shitload of money. Good luck with whatever you choose!

If you believe they, I would get your affairs in order. The CPRK says, [North Korea is right to deal with] the US "by force only, not just talking, and should finally settle accounts with it through an all-out nuclear showdown".

I agree. I don't believe North Korea have adequate nuclear capabilities, if any. Which is lucky now that a petulant manchild is running the country.

If you want wine that tastes like fizzy fruit juice, the 2 top choices are Lambrusco

They are difficult to find. Most of the high street stores seem to be ignoring "Radiant Orchid" and going with chartreuse and indigo and blood red.

That's very encouraging to hear. We outside, sometimes think of the US as being beyond the Dark Ages, so it's nice to see glimmers of normality. Good luck with whatever you choose. :-)

Oh yeah, baby!

It is one of my greatest regrets in life that I was born too late to be at Cambridge with John Oliver and Richard Ayoade. If I were, I'd be:

I don't know where you are in the world: in the UK it's obviously free, in AUS/NZ it's funded if you have menorrhagia, and $300 if not. (Because it's an effective treatment for menorrhagia)

Have you considered a Mirena IUD? I've had mine for 2 and a half years now, with no bleeding, no cramping, no pain and no accidental pregnancies. I love it. I would shout from the rooftops if I could.

No worries, it was an interesting experiment for a Sunday afternoon.

So I got some, and I've been scrubbing the glass with them for about 40mins, but no sign of an improvement at this stage. I guess water stained is just the fashion in my house.

I've never heard of CLR. I'm not too sure it's available outside of the US. My fingers are all bleeding, there's no skin on my knuckles, my nails are ragged, but the water stains remain. North Island water is the hardest I've ever known. You have to descale the kettle twice a week here.

What are dryer sheets? Those perfumed tissues one could put in a tumble drier to make the clothes smell "fresh"?

Please can you tell me how to get waterstains off shower glass? I have tried vinegar, lemon jouice, methylated spirits, cream cleaner, window cleaner, shower and glass cleaner. Nothing works. (Also, I use grey water safe products, obviously.)

Why would you have baby wipes in the toilet? And what on earth would you do with them afterwards? You can't just go putting them down the pipes, you'll flood the whole building. And, for the love of God, what about the environment? What about the polar bears???
