The article is about emulation,and emulation is not the same as piracy. A person who legally buys the game media, rips it themselves and is able to get that media to work on another piece of hardware is to the best of my knowledge completely legal.

The funny thing is, it’s mostly Chinese games that use this system of gambling and low odds in their online/mobile games. They know the system and the game industry is ‘crooked’. So it’s only logical that they suspect the US companies doing the same. Plus the chinese government is about security and general wellbeing
