You’ll be pleased to know that the designer of the Vitpilen has been working as a head designer at Honda since 2019. My guess is we’ll be seeing some of his influence relatively soon, possibly with the new Hornet.

Can we not with the 996? It was basically the last chance for me to own a car that I’ve loved for as long as I’ve known what cars are. I guess I could get a Cayman to scratch that Porsche itch, but the 911 is special in a way that Caymans aren’t. Even a 996 with its ugly headlights is still a 911.

Wow, for me a RWD 230hp BMW would be worth hanging onto. (I’m in a 10-year-old AWD 3-series—much heavier, but oh well). The Acura looks good from some perspectives, but FWD and 200hp would be enough to make me think twice.

Their early stuff had a fair bit of doom metal in it, but they’ve been pushing in a sort of prog/psychedelic rock direction for a long time. They kick ass regardless though.
