It’s hard to keep my two jobs separate sometimes.

You know what’s better than a million horsepower? A billion.
Honestly, I love my Zero. I use it for errands, commuting, off-roading, and just for fun exploration, but (and I say this with huge respect for the engineering that went into it), it’s not a track “day” bike - it’s a track “hour” bike.
I go to food blogs and comment on all the recipes I don’t like.
$100 2008 Ruckus from inner city scrapyard (from city salvage auction) + about $100 in Ebay parts + few hours labor = $200 dollar Ruckus. Admittedly, a pretty good deal, especially since it runs great, looks decent, and has a clean VIN.
the west would be such a different place if all those cowboy architects and cowboy city planners just made cities big enough for more than just one cowboy.
Deaths per mile doesn’t *really* matter. I don’t have a number for miles driven, so I can’t do that calculation with the data provided. What matters is DEATHS UP, MILES DOWN, which means deaths per mile went up a lot.
The price seems in line to me, especially considering what new conversions cost. Sportsmobile’s interior build quality is good by RV industry standards, although the second half of that sentence is doing a lot of work.
Ford has never made a factory 4x4 Econoline, although dealers sometimes sold 3rd party conversions.
I know this isn’t the point, but I’d be absolutely terrified of traveling with that amount of money. An untimely car theft, fire, or other... well, anything... could put everything you worked for in jeopardy.
We’re working on a Southeast show, possibly for next spring. Watch this space.
Neutral: Minor league baseball is a great first-date night. If any of you are still single, it’s fun, cheap, the food is... not going to be a topic of discussion.
IMO, the rural life on acres is pretty sweet, and being within walking distance of your needs is pretty sweet, it’s the in-between suburbs of 8000sqft lots and needing to take a car to go anywhere further than the mailbox that makes no sense in retrospect.
I have a personal hot take on 3rd gear. Here’s the thing with me - I support all the usual Transit Memes for New Urbanist Teens measures. Cities should serve their citizens. Walkability and density should be prioritized over roads and parking. Resources and entertainment should be well-distributed into the urban…
3rd Gear:
You are also describing real estate.
So you buy your leased car..... and than you sell for a profit.. and than you buy a new car at an equally inflated price (If you can find one!) and over MSRP and you have gained.... What exactly?
How quaint. Now bow down to ‘The Cyclops’! You’ll find me in the pool..
That’s what the “garage” is really for.
Ya know, I’m not sure any pics of the garage are available. I dug through the links in the article and found lots of interior pics, but none of the garage space. I guess we’ll find out more tomorrow once it hits that trade fair?
