No Kids Just Bikes

I fail to see how this is the bike for people who missed the R6. A few points according to Yamaha’s website the R7 is only 3lbs lighter than the out going R6. While this is great news as who doesn’t love a lighter bike, my bigger issue is from a power perspective. The outgoing R6 makes around 115-125hp depending on

And even Buffet has reverted to the mean. $10,000 invested in BRK in 2005 would be worth a bit less today than $10,000 in the Vanguard Total Stock Market index ($47k vs $50k).

I made a TikTok

I made a TikTok about this recently, but I’ll roughly repeat it here: Artificial intelligence is going to threaten many job categories, and I’m talking about entire verticals of employment... and this is a 3-5 year problem. (I have mentioned before, I work in this field, so I know the landscape extremely well.)

For those of you who wanted to know what it might feel like to drive a suppository, I present the Canoo EV Minibus.

Right “I would wear it in lines but not while sitting in the grass watching a race.” is what I expected. The reality was that I saw twelve people wearing masks, total. Including in line for the bathroom and concessions.

Did you honestly expect most people to be wearing masks?  Not debating if people should or not, just wondering if others expect mass mask wearing outdoors at this point.  My expectation at this point is most people have given up and just don’t care anymore.  I wear mine indoors, but outdoors at an event like this I

Let’s get it out of the way now... this is THE worst bumper sticker, bar none:

This is literally the worst way to use a car like a Caterham.  You want frequent short bursts between 30 and 80 around corners, not droning at 80mph on the freeway.

And a hearty Bah Humbug to you, too, my good man.

I’m still not going to visit until you solve you vampire problems.

5th Gear: The only way to reduce congestion is to remove cars. Where I live, the Boston area, is a perfect demonstration of this: Decades of road projects haven’t achieved a fucking thing in making it less congested.

Look at the torque number comparison between the two. That is what you feel. After all, how often are you actually at wide open when you have 150hp on tap? (other than the track, of course)

I think there’s a difference between a “review” and “a knee jerk reaction just looking at a picture”

They are one of the oldest motorcycle companies in the world, started 1903, same year as Harley .

It’d be fine for basically all of Philadelphia.

Meh, what’s a hundred bucks between friends?

I don’t know if this would be a great car to have in high school, given that there is no second seat

“why on earth are you writing about one!?” - Uh...reviewing cars is his job.

Why? Does she need to seat 7 passengers or carry 87 cubic feet worth of cargo? As good as the Telluride is for its intended purposes, it’s overkill for anyone who doesn’t have a family or a ton of stuff to haul around on a regular basis (same with any large/3-row crossover).
