I’ll be interested to hear what your overall riding impression of the bike is. As for the styling, I just can’t get on board with the new direction of the monster. I understand it, and I know the need to “innovate”, but it’s now so far from the original monster’s ethos, that it’s really just a monster in name.
It manages to be both over styled and boring. I know why the got rid of the trellis, but the new look just doesn’t work for me.

The Husqvarna Group (power tools and shit) spun off Husqvarna Motorcycles in the ‘80s. They are completely separate companies now. The motorcycle company is owned by KTM. Most of Husky’s bikes are basically just better looking KTM’s.
