Nice timing! I did 14 hours of driving this weekend to pick up a 2000 911 cabrio with a hard top. I don’t ever need to go back to Macon, GA. Athens and Asheville were nice, though.

Mind bottling.

I think I kinda miss the flat-track-looking tires.

I liked the higher revs. Cruiser twins lose steam too early, but I grew up on Honda (VTR) Superhawks and Suzuki TLs.

No history. Indian was HD’s major competitor from late 19th century through the early fifties. People know Indian, and a lot of people never learned what/who Victory was.

I have a TLS and that $%^#@ damper just died. Retrofit kit from the UK wasn’t cheap either.

Now to unpack it after my cross-country move.

Now it will be the same, but with fuel injection.

I’d put it on the tall list unless your inseam is very large.

460?!?!?! A dual sport is only 100 lbs less than an 883 Sportster?! I had no idea.

Disgusting.

As has been stated in these hallowed comments before, Vanderhalls are FWD. The Morgan is at least RWD. I would think that a person interested in bad decisions would also be interested in maximum oversteer.

But I think all of these things fall under the ‘I dont want a Slingshot’ requirement.

I get it. I lean pretty left. I chose a cheaper school to avoid massive debt and don’t know quite how to feel about this.

Crazy money! Don’t they realize they could get TEN (10!!) Cybertruck reservations for the price of a single Blackwing reservation??? Do they even math?

I lived in Evergreen and was always amazed at how many test mules I saw. The weirdest was an RV.

It’s asinine but at least it’s ugly.

Yeah, probably at least similar. Not the same as a motorcycle.

All right, all right....motor. Hub motor.

I’m intrigued. I also wonder how it will ride with a heavy hub-mounted engine in the rear wheel. Unsprung weight is a bummer.

Pretty sure it is already there. Same-gen Forester XTs had STI motors, but the turbo, intake, and exhaust were different.

I think the only reason I ever visit autoblog anymore is to read jalop-alum Murilee’s junkyard series. He’s not telling us about weirdo brake drum parts, though.

Nice work.

The 450 is the bike in the argument, though, and those have worse maintenance than KTMs. I have a 2002 520 SX I still beat the snot out of...it just takes frequent valve adjustments. And oil top-ups since it holds a single quart and I cross-threaded one of the screen plugs. RFS motors are pretty tough.
