That’s obscene.

Yep. You win.

I never understood why anyone even bought those. All the fun of an Altima with less practicality.

Doesn’t the 450 motor have maintenance requirements similar to the orange brand? And the price is pretty similar too IIRC. I don’t see a lot of compelling reasons to choose red in this segment.

Turns out I don’t miss the commute.

I had a supermoto buddy that worked in a motorcycle store. Well before this model he said that riding a Goldwing would ruin you for any other motorcycle.

HA!

That dude sounds pretty interesting and also boring. So, cool?

I am starting to shop for a j200/LX570 and was worried about the antiquated infotainment. Seems the aftermarket has a solution.

*Precis. My mom had one.

Nice take. Howsabout taking the bike thing a little further?

I am real curious about how a Zero FX compares to a Segway Dirt eBike (aka Sur Ron Light Bee). You might be able to get away with the latter on trails that are not open to motorbikes.

The Desert Sled is the top of the line, and made to actually be a dual sport. IIRC the suspension is more off-road suited and I think the pivot point of the swingarm differs from that of the standard scrambler. If you’re into these, this is the one and I think is priced fairly.

They’re a stealth wealth car. I saw tons in Evergreen, CO and I still see a few in SW-SW-Virginia. They are a nice car that the poors don’t know is really nice.

Sold my 1999 4x4 E250 with 267k miles on it. I miss that van.

What? I had a 1990 Super Coupe with 110k when I gave it to my dad.

Turning radius of what, 3 miles?

I was about to say this. When I have gone golfing I remove all the sticks save for a wooden one, a metal one, and the putt putt one. I then fill the vacated space with cans of garage beers. Otherwise it feels like I am wasting a day. To date I am only lifetime-banned from one course outside of Morgantown, WV.

I’d like to read your thoughts on the use-case of this over the FX. I like Zero a lot, I just can’t figure out why I would ever consider any of them over an FX with two battery packs.

I owned an Element before the econoline. The tailgate was pretty nice in decent weather, but the van beat it by every other vehicle-as-lodge metric.

Put some meaty tires on the popped-top econoline. Barely outfit it to function as a lounge (heater, seating or a bed, fridge/cooler) and then drive it to Denver in the summer and make money on the sale. I sold mine with the 5.4 at 357k miles and it ran fine. Decent driving with snow tires more than makes up for RWD.
