And no one would ever think that Egypt could be simply a middleman to facilitate delivery of them to the Russians. The French would make bad noises, the Egyptians would shrug and cash their checks... in this case, they’d take delivery of the MiG29s...

Outside of all these practice realities, I think it’s growing ever-more-clear that a government shutdown means that this just isn’t working anymore... This can not be what the founders of this nation intended for us.
