If you want to maximize the return it will depend on your state. If you just want to get rid of them, hop on fb marketplace and find someone to buy it from you. I did that with my wife’s old Acura cat. Sold it to some random dude in a grocery store parking lot for $80 or so. He had a minivan full of them too.
Depending on what state you’re in, those hoops might be getting tighter in response to these thefts, so you may want to get it done sooner if your legislatures have anything planned for it.
Your ‘99 PowerStroke got 33" tires, nearly 11" ground clearance, and anywhere near as clean as this at the tail pipe?
Don’t worry how the dash will look after off roading. 98 percent of them will never leave pavement.

Size matters. Colorado fits in my garage. Full size truck does not.
Do you need more though?

I knew a guy named Fred who had in order, MGB, LeCar, Fuego, Maserati BiTurbo
That mileage is pretty low for a 240 anyways...
NP, $6k for a running and driving classic/enthusiast car is a good deal in today’s market. Mileage isn’t a concern at this age - this car is 40 years old and it would be far worse to find one with 30k that hadn’t been driven. Expect it to need work, and treat it as a guilt-free canvas to modify as you see fit.
You’re expecting the average Americans to have an ability to plan ahead and save a extra $7500 to cover it in the mean time???
As it stands, the cheapest gas-powered car you can buy in America is the Nissan Versa, which can be yours for around $16,000, while the cheapest EV [Chevy Bolt EUV] is more than $10,000 more expensive.
Oh you want a sensible EV to soothe your climate concerns and consumption guilt? Here’s a $100k monstrosity that will sail clean through a Civic without slowing down. Our big push for EVs will be spearheaded by morons with too much money trundling around in heavy destructive tanks that spit broken asphalt and tire…
Wow, this is so much better looking than the ICE Escalade both inside and out - kudos to GM for finally designing an attractive full-size SUV. It is too bad that it is fucking huge and will likely be inefficient due to the weight because if it were closer in size to an X7, I would give it a legitimate consideration.
Just. Lame.
It’s true, though.
I mean the credits are still here, just different. GM and Tesla still have the full 7500 credit and the 4000 used credit in particular is where a lot of people are looking now as that’s where the big value is for low income buyers. There’s also the fact that the Leaf really just isn’t great compared to the…
Gee, maybe they’d sell more if every EV the general public can afford wasn’t awful...
